Program goal (overall statement of purpose)
The first purpose within our goals are to completely teach the real estate requirements asked by the State of Michigan. In our schedule program of courses at the Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School, will take pride with you new and old students with on going private lessons. The classroom programs with our teaching resources all will satisfy you and give proof of successfully completing 100% of the pre-license salesperson's and broker's pre-license course requirements. This means that Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, will uphold all rules and laws required by Board of Real Estate and the Department to certify each student for testing with Applied Measurement Professional Testing services as true commitment in the profession.
Secondly, the purpose and goals of Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School will be to explain about the reasons for the AMP testing program to future real estate license candidates. Once certified the candidates who have passed the pre-licensed course both brokers and salespersons; will be prepared to take the real estate license examinations. So Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School will be preparing to uplift and teach new candidates to test. To prove to teach with instructional materials by Dearborn Real Estate Education to get an approved successful resort by the students when testing. Testing preparation courses will provide ongoing educational influences to especially serve the future or our realtors.
Prerequisite Requirements for Enrollment
Be honest and can show to have good character in public. A student should have knowledge of the English language, including reading, writings spelling and elementary arithmetic. In high school education they should have earned a high school diploma or have completed a G.E.D. and can prove it if needed to the Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School.
All student must be 18 years and older.
Policies relative to absences, leaves, tardiness, make-up
work, and suspension for unsatisfactory work or attendance
and re-entrance conditions.
Students shall attend 100% of a course to obtain credit for the course. Tardiness- students in each course will have to speak to the instructor to make-up instruction class minutes missed during the course. During each break given during the course is your make up time. If needed the time following the course will be used to making up work.
Absences and leaves over 4 hours require that the student come back to another course. The student shall participate only during the time required to make-up unattended, absences and unparticipated leave time as a cause to do make-up work.
Suspension for unsatisfactory work A student may re-enroll free of charge to prepare to complete the course. When the students work has not passed them to a satisfactory grade. Asking, Real estate School's main office at regular hours can arraign re-entrance approval.
Grading System and Grading Criteria
Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School has a pass or fail course grading system. A complete or an incomplete mark can be used in the grading system. Passing is based on a 70% correct answering mark on the tests as an average. Students are required to attend 100% of a course to obtain a passing grade.
Rules of Student Conduct and Conditions for Probation or Dismissal. Respect others with all regards to having good behavior when your course is in session. No smoking in the classroom / no smoking in the building, if so you will be asked to put out. Phone ringers should be off during class hours. So your phone will not disturb other people.
No beepers should be on to hear it. When in the course, you will be asked to turn it off if this happens. Be on time so others will not be disturbed.
Tuition Charges and Fees for Student Activities, Laboratories, Rental, Deposits and other Charges.
Real Estate Sales Fundamentals, 40 hours real estate fundamentals with 3 hours of Civil Rights Law. Tuition $295.00 includes
textbooks.
Real Estate /Investments, 30 hours Financing and Investment with 3 hours of Civil Rights Law. Tuition $295.00 includes textbook.
Broker Real Estate Property Management., 30 hours which is approved by the department. Tuition is $45.00 pre- register or $55.00 at the door.
Managing a Michigan Real Estate Office Brokers 30 hours
Refund Policy
All tuition and fees paid the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school before enrollment. An applicant fee of not more than $25.00 may be retained by the school if the applicant is denied. All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if requested within three business days after signing a contact with the school. All refunds shall be returned within 30 days.
The student needs to furnish their course class supplies to do the work. Each student should have pencil and paper. The books supplied to them, will and should be received before the course and read. The book should be with them in each course session. During testing sessions a pencil will be needed to do the test. A calculator to do mathematics in each course may be needed by the student.
Information about Instructional Tool and equipment which
will be Furnished by the School.
The instructional tools and equipment that will be always furnished in the classrooms. There will be tables and chairs for setting and writing. A well heated or air conditioned room will be provided daily. In front of the room there will be a dry erase chalkboard and a pull down wall projection screen. An overhead projector audiovisual or a Digital Projector will be used inside of the course area. A furnished tripod easel for an instructor will be in the front of the room so that an instructor can speak and do work on it. In the administration office there will be outside of the course area a bulletin board. This bulletin board will have job postings to hire real estate
candidates. All students will have there books that will be for them to buy at the institute ready for order. Pencil and paper will be furnished if the student asks for them.
Placement Assistance, if available for Enrolled Students.
There will be employment placement when available. To find when and where available employers request a person to work. Look at the future employee hiring letters on the bulletin boards in the main office.
Requirements for graduation, and type(s) of certificate(s) or diploma issued.
The Institute of Michigan Real Estate Careers, Real Estate School will assure that each student is treated fairly to graduate. The director and instructor recommend that we work to assure that the required progress that is needed to meet the guidelines in the State of Michigan is accomplished. To conduct all of your courses with care and showing fairness in the classroom course environment. Showing and using in each course a responsible instructor and the administrative awareness to assure further efforts that all students are in the course the best learning environment. The student's will have all the course book materials required supplied in advance to study for each area of testing for the Real Estate examination.
Type of certificate(s)
The graduation requirements for a Salesperson's certificate is to successfully complete a 40-hour classroom course in Real Estate Sales Fundamentals. Which not less than 4 clock hours shall be instructed on Civil Rights Laws and Equal Opportunity Laws in Housing. Which is approved by the Department of Real Estate. A passing grade of (C) will be required to receive a Real Estate Sales Fundamentals passing certificate.
The graduation requirements for a Broker's certificate is to successfully complete three of the four 30 hour classroom courses in advanced brokerage. Which not less than 3 clock hours shall be instructed on Civil Rights Laws in each of the courses. First of the courses is Broker Basics Principles and Practices. Two, the course is Broker/ Basic Law or Real Estate Law. Third, the course is Investments, Financing and Investments. Fourth, the course is Appraisal, the Fundamentals of Appraisal. Finally, the Department of Real Estate approves all of these courses. A passing grade of (C) will be required to receive these Real Estate Brokers Advance Certificates.
